Terms and Conditions
These are the Conditions of Bookings of
Tailor-made Tours. The contract between the
parties is made on the terms outlined herein.
PRICES - Prices are based on the detailed
quote and proposals you recive from us prior to
you confirming your booking.
RESERVATIONS - are needed please book as
far in advances as is practically possible.
DATE OF DEPARTURE & COLLECTION TIMINGS -
These are will be confirmed in our BOOKING
CONFIRMATION letters, you should advise us of
any discrepencies immediately before your trip
commences.
CONVENIENT RETURNS Drivers have to work
under strict contractual time restraints
and therefore you will be dropped back at
convenient drops (with a hundred meters) , if
not at your hotel door, depending on the
traffic conditions. If you change your tour on
the day and drivers are used for longer, you
will be asked to pay an overtime fee, but only
if the change is at your request.
SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted in any
vehicles but all tours make frequent stops.
CHILDREN - Children under sixteen must be
accompanied by an adult.
CHILD REDUCTIONS - For Sightseeing tours
see we will quote children's rates at the time
of your enquiry. For overnight tours children
sharing with 2 Adults can often reduce costs.
Otherwise adults tariffs will apply.
CANCELLATIONS - FULL AND HALF DAY TOURS -
A refund will only be made if Tailor Made Tours
is informed 24 hours or more before departure,
otherwise a 100% charge will be levied deposits
are non-refundable unless cancellations are made
more than 6 weeks prior.
VENUE TICKETS: Once booked you can't
cancel venue tickets. 100% cancellation charges
apply.
THEATRE PACKAGE & SIGHTSEEING TOURS BY TRAIN
- Once booked no refund is available.
EXTENDED TOURS - 31 or more days Loss of
Deposit • 8-30 Days 30% of tour price • 2-7 Days
50% of tour price • Day of departure 100% of
tour price.
AMENDMENTS TO EXTENDED TOURS - Amendments
are accepted at anytime but we reserve the right
to charge an amendment fee, or within 7 days of
departure the appropriate cancellation fee may
apply.
PERSONAL INSURANCE - Is not included.
Please discuss this with your Travel Agent.
LUGGAGE - Extended Tours the allowance is
one suitcase not exceeding 44lb in weight or 30
x 17 x 10 in dimension. A small amount of hand
luggage is permissible.
PASSPORTS & VISAS - A Passport valid for
all countries to be visited must be carried and
you must ascertain from your Travel Agent what
visas are required.
ACCIDENT OR LOSS - We have no liability
for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or
direct or consequential loss, however caused,
unless due to our employees negligence, in which
case our liability is limited to a maximum of
the refund of the tour cost. We do not own or
manage the train, ships, vehicles, accommodation
and restaurants used and we have no liability
for loss or damage caused by the proprietors or
operators thereof.
PAYMENT - Payment details will be advised
at the time of booking.
CREDIT CARDS We can accept credit cards
for your deposit but balances that become
payable to the tour guide when your are pick up
must be paid in cash.
WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES - This is
specifically stated on each proposal and
quoatation.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE - Gratuities to the
Guide, Driver or Tour Manager is not included.
Lunch is not included unless specified.
GENERAL CONDITIONS - We may, at our
discretion, require any person to withdraw from
any tour if we deem his acts or conduct
offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and
we shall have no further liability. We reserve
the right to cancel any tours due to changes
beyond our control. No servant or agent of ours
can vary our conditions and any such purported
variation shall be of no effect unless it has
been signed by one of our Directors. All matters
concerning this booking shall be subject to Thai
Law. If you have comments about your sightseeing
tour, you should make them to the company. SFT
